Karen has worked at Silsoe Pre-School since 2019 and is passionate about planning and delivering high-quality, ambitious and engaging early years education.  Karen has the following qualifications:

• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
• Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Emergency Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Level 3 Safeguarding
• BA Hons in Advertising & Marketing Communications

Lynda joined the team in 2006 and has the following qualifications:

• Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce
• NVQ2 Childcare, Learning & Development
• Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Paediatric First Aid
• Level 3 Safeguarding

Tahmina is a highly qualified Pre-School Manager who brings to Silsoe Pre-School a wealth of experience.  Along with her caring and nurturing disposition, Tahmina has over 20 years experience working within Early Years settings, many of which has been in a Manager role.

• Level 5 qualification in Child and Adolescent Studies
• Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Level 3 Safeguarding

Carlene joined the team in 2018 after gaining a wealth of experience working as a volunteer with early years children. Carlene has the following qualifications:

• Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce
• Level 3 Safeguarding 
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Ann-Marie is extremely creative and loves making things with the children and dressing up. She joined the team in September 2013 and has the following qualifications:

• Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Level 3 Safeguarding

Bethany joined the team in 2020 with an already established background working within early years education. Bethany has the following qualifications:

• CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce
• Level 3 Safeguarding
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Level 4 Award in Promoting Health and Well-being through Physical Activity and Nutrition Co-ordination in the early years (PANCO)
• Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health

Haley joined Pre-School in 2022 as a childcare practitioner and is also our SENCO.  She has a wealth of experience as a support worker caring for young people with learning disabilities.

Ann-Marie joined Pre-School in 2023 after developing a keen interest in child education and development following the birth of her own child. In 2021, Ann-Marie joined the Pre-School Management Committee and has participated in many local fundraising events. Through her time on the committee, she has gained a great insight in to how the Pre-School operates and so welcomed the opportunity to work directly with the children and the rest of the team.

Lucy joins the Pre-School with a variety of administration experience and is supporting the setting with all the administrative tasks, as well as answering the telephone and responding to emails enquiries.
